How to Draw a Beautiful, Natural-Looking Eye with Colored Pencils

If you use colored pencils, you may want to draw a beautiful, natural-looking eye at some point of time. Well, the time is now. You can learn the art of drawing an eye which looks as good as a real eye – using colored pencils.

In this video tutorial, Emmy Kalia teaches you:

How to color the pupil
How to color the iris
How to create reflections in the eye
How to create depth in the eye
How to define the eye lashes

And finally, how to create a realistic eye. It’s great to learn how Emmy uses dark brown, dark blue, yellow, some orange, some green, blue and gray to create a fantastic, realistic eye. She starts with lighter colors and adds the dark colors later on. She never uses black in her drawings because it makes the eye look unrealistic.
